Michael Cohen, DDS, MSD, FACD

 Michael Cohen is founder and president of Seattle Study Club. He received his DDS from McGill University in Montreal and his MSD and certificate in periodontics from the University of Washington. He has authored various articles on continuing education and has lectured internationally over the past 25 years. In 2008, Dr Cohen authored and edited a textbook entitled Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Principles, Design, Implementation (Quintessence). The book is unique in that it looks at treatment planning through the eyes of 15 top clinicians around the world, each with their own individual perspective and philosophy on the subject. In 2011, Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, Volume II: Comprehensive Case Studies was released to bring readers to the next important step—learning by repetition. This text includes the presentation of additional cases treated by master clinicians from every specialty. 


Mr. Greg Tice

Greg Tice has presented more than 200 programs built around the cognitive principles affecting how we learn, how we grow and how we effectively use goal setting. With his enthusiasm, personal stories and real-life examples, Greg engages his audience in a

profound way. For the last 24 years, Greg has been the Managing Director for the Seattle Study Club, a global educational organization focused on providing customized curricula to dentists around the world. He has developed dozens of educational programs, coached hundreds of clinicians on educational implementation, and refocused thousands of participants on real growth and behavior change. Through his presentations, team management, new business development and sales experiences, Greg has honed his ability to help people recognize how our habits, attitudes and beliefs affect how we see the world, the opportunities we miss and the ruts we get stuck in. His ability to present these cognitive concepts in an approachable manner and facilitate brainstorming, strategic planning and goal setting sessions effectively, has helped thousands of entrepreneurs, team members and sales people create

real, lasting change. A 1990 graduate from the University of Notre Dame, Greg is married with three boys including twins, is an avid cyclist and enjoys adventure sports.


Mr. Charles Loretto

 Charles received a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from University of Texas at Arlington. He joined CWA in 2001 and became a partner in 2016. As an Investment Advisory Representative, he plays a critical role in growing the firm’s client base as the director of business development, marketing and new client services. He regularly speaks to dental schools and residency programs, study clubs, dental symposiums and state and national dental meetings. Since 2004, Charles has presented to over 30,000 dentists and 51 dental schools. He is a published author, and host of the top-ranking dental podcast, Transition Talk. Charles oversees the practice transition department for CWA, and is founder of affiliate company, National Dental Placements, that assists doctors in the buying, transitioning and valuation of a practice. He and his team help hundreds of clients and non-clients with their transition goals annually. 


Howard M. Chasolen, D.M.D.

Dr. Howard Chasolen graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1991. He earned a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and a fellowship certificate in Implant Prosthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from 1991 to 1994. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is a Past President of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Florida Prosthodontic Association and The Sarasota County Dental Association as well as being appointed to the faculty at the University of Florida in the Graduate Prosthodontic Residency Program. He has restored over 20,000 units of crown and bridge, 1000 full arches, and 10,000 implants. His practice is limited to Prosthodontics and is located in Sarasota, Florida. 


Joseph C. Passaro, DDS

 Dr. Joe is originally from Towson, MD where he attended Calvert Hall High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland at College Park. He obtained his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School in 1981. Dr. Joe and his wife Ginny live in Bay Ridge. They have two grown daughters, Kelley and Keri. Dr. Joe and Ginny also have three grandsons, Cody, and twins Brooks and Ryan, who bring them great joy. 


James B. Wooddell, DDS

Dr. Woody, as he likes to be called, grew up in Davidsonville, MD and attended Severn School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA and obtained his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School in 1981. Dr. Woody and his wife Nancy live in Harwood. They have three grown children: Kaitlin, Jamie, and Kelsey. Jamie is following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps and is currently in his second year of Dental School at UMB. 


Drs. Wooddell and Passaro have dedicated over 200 hours of continuing education each year keeping current on the latest techniques and advancements in dental technology.
